I hit 2P last year with 30 segments exactly. And that was only because of DEQS that was going on.
Currently a 1P with 61. More travel on the way though.
Perhaps a more fun thread would be "how close did you miss the next level by?"

Last year I finished my planned travel with 123,037. Did a MR with 4 sub-500 segments to qualify for the 2 SWUs + 5K rollover EQMs by 37 miles.
This year I've got an annoying 115K. Would that UA had "rollover" like DL!

Standing at 60.0 segments.
But EQM passed back in August. Still, kind of cool hitting the segment on the button if I don't travel any more this year (a person can hope). Still a month to go though so I probably won't stay at 60.

The wife made it either last year or the year before and was a couple hundred miles short of 1P, they gave it to her anyways. She was shocked.

My MIL made 1P last year with 48,xxx EQM. Of course, well known that UA was bumping people up who were within a few thousand miles of the next status level.

Soft Landing?
I am currently a 1K and it looks like I will be just short for Premier Exec by about 2,500 miles. Is there any chance of me begging UA to keep me at Premier Exec? I have been Premier Exec or higher for 8 years. If so, who should I try to talk to, 1K desk?
Thanks!
Thanks!

I've heard of it happening, but I wouldn't count on it! They will tell you "no" on the phone I bet. The best thing is to do a mileage run - isn't there some long lost relative living 1250 miles away who you can visit?

That is what I would normally do, but it just cant happen this year (new baby). I did sign up for the new MP visa which will hopefully get me over the hump. I have heard that if you are close and a long term loyal customer you have a chance, but its on a case by case basis.

closest to 100,000 WITH going over
Hi Everyone,
This may be my last year hitting 1K for a while. I just crossed the threshold and will finish with 100,388 EQMs. I'm curious if anyone has hit 1K this year with fewer EQMs, and how many miles did it take?

Can say with a high degree of certainty that I am aware of someone who is going to make it this year with something with less than 50 EQMs to spare. I'll be a couple thousand over.
