Using up the last remaining miles. By driving me away, I mean I have stopped actively accumulating in UA.

I like being able to book two one ways for added flexibility...the only downside is that no stopovers are allowed on one way tickets.

Yes and yes (unless you're a 1K).

Wasn't charged as a 1P booking 1-way tickets on US in the Winter. *shrug*.

Just called the 1K desk to try to book a one way Star award and had the agent told me "that functionality hasn't been loaded in the computers yet -- try back next Tuesday"... She said about it being related to the pending weather irrops

Did I just get a misinformed 1K desk agent? Call back and try again?

Using MP miles yes but not using OP miles -- not yet. Hopefully once the merge is completed there will still be OW awards for the combined program.

OW standard award on CO/CS

Hi, did not found the answer on my question, so i'd place it here...

In wich booking class will a standard award be booked? As I understand, it's booked as a normal paid ticket, i.ex. Y/C/F. Does that also apply on Star Alliance partners?

I'd like to book a OW ticket HNL (Hawaii) - X/GUM - MNL (South Asia). CO Flights 957/933 are equipped with International Business class.

So, an OW standard award with mileage plus should be 65k, right?

No standard awards on *A partners, only savers
Standard awards are an UA metal only item (and yes does book in Y/C/F BUT still amrked as a award ticket)
