I agree with both Sea_Tigger and UNITED959. I love the current grey and blue scheme, and found the new livery boring.
However, the new livery is not as bad or boring as JAL or SQ. I can live with it.
Doesn't the new scheme (minus the tail and engines) look similar the Boeing commerical aircraft paint scheme?

I have to say that this livery lacks any imagination or creativity whatsoever. A sixth grader could have come up with that paint scheme.
I'm reminded of the old pre-grey paint job. Sad day for UA.

In the photo posted earlier in this thread, there is a UA 747 parked behing the newly painted 777. Does that mean that the 747 fleet is also getting the new livery soon?

I think United's new colors are all right, but they should really look at the prototypes of IMKEWW that are really cool.

Nice color scheme for the new livery, although the old grey blue was not bad.

The best thing about this paint scheme is that the last remnant of the grotesque 70's-80's livery is finally gone - no more orange anywhere in this livery AFAI can see.

Change it back to the happy white, red, orange and blue! Please!

The new livery is nice -- but it could use an orange stripe or two...

Really like the new scheme, hope they would paint a 747 soon. Is it N777UA, the first 777 UA got has returned to the lessor ? That's why they have to use N775UA to have the new scheme ?
