Thumbs up Free WiFi at SFO

This is an exciting development! I just noticed that SFO now has free Wifi. I just logged on from gate 73 waiting for my flight to DEN. It's actually pretty fast, although oddly enough it's limited to 45 minutes. That's fine for my normal travel days, but I would love for a longer time if there's delays.

I noticed this mentioned very briefly in a SF Chronicle article last night and couldn't find any threads in the UA forum:

I'm still fairly new to flyertalk, so hopefully I haven't duplicated something existing.

Look for SSID: sfo free wifi.

There is an active thread in the San Francisco Forum, which is probably the most appropriate location for threads such as these, which aren't specific to UA (if the WiFi was free only for UA customers or in the UA terminal, that would be different).
