just flew SFO - NRT - SFO in C this week, didn't pre-order the obento the first time around, they managed to snag me the last one (7 total available, 5 already pre-ordered); pre-ordered for the NRT - SFO segment, saw one Japanese guy want one but not get it.

Nov 27, 2003 SIN-NRT asked by seat number (Front to back)
Nov 27, 2003 NRT-ORD asked FIRST (no status)

but main cabin C (behind lavs) had only me on the seat map 25 hours prior to departure and suddenly there were 7 on board. Couple on 24AB did not know how to get legrest up and squealed when seats reclined 150 degrees http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif
