Normally we get 500 EQM for UA flights less than 500 miles - is this also the case for the double miles promo expiring dec 15? In the description for the promo, it says you get double the "actual miles flown credited to your account"--I assume they are saying this to make it clear that the bonus miles are not doubled, but I do not want to make a mistake and come out short on dec 31.

Double the 500 miles received.
