"Upgrade Waitlist" message gone?

"Upgrade Waitlist" message gone?
I've requested upgrades ORD-LHR and have been waitlisted for months. My itinerary has always shown the message "Upgrade Waitlisted" in the second (duplicate) flight display for those segments. Today the message has disappeared even though the duplicate segment for business class is still listed.
Any idea what this means?
