E-Upgrade Summary
 

I had always thought that when you requested an upgrade (CR-1 or SWU), it was pulled from your account upon request and was added back in if you didn't clear. I'm puzzled because I'm currently wait listed but no instrument has been pulled. Is this a change or is my memory off? The upgrade request/wait list shows in my itineraries but is is possible that the request has it not been fully "processed" or really requested?

It happens like that occasionally... at checkin you will have to "pay" for the upgrade and it will be deducted at that time.

OK - now I just need to see the darned things clear. I'm starting to think that will be at the gate.

Maybe they'll still upgrade you but forget to deduct the CR1 or SWU, in which case you'll wind up ahead ;). It just happened to me, except that the SWUs just appear to have been put back after having been initially deducted before the trip. There is not even a record of their having be deducted. They just disappeared and then reappeared, although the entire multi-segment trip was upgraded, which gave me 2 extra SWUs for the year.
