Why United doesn't post all the 2500 miles from Hyatt?

I just received the 500 base miles for my Each of past 4 stays and I was expecting 2500 miles/stay because of the promotion.

I see those 2500 miles posted from Hyatt account. So what is the problem with United, why doesn't it post all the 2500 miles per stay?

Are you elite with UA?

United Airlines® Mileage Plus elite members are invited to earn 2,500 miles per stay (500 base + 2,000 bonus) at any Hyatt worldwide through January 31, 2011.

I haven't taken advantage of this but the FFN is something I might.
