777 E+ seat width

Are all Y seats on the 777 the identical construction, and the only difference in E+ the pitch between rows? I'm looking at 30B, the bulkhead, on an upcoming trip where I can't get C or 17AB, and wondering if the seat itself is the same as E+ seats even though it is out of the E+ section. Clearly it has a lot of legroom, and I'm westbound transatlantic so sleeping past the lav lines is not an issue.

An E seat is an E seat. http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif Nothing fancy in the construction for E+ other than where it's fastened to the aircraft floor.

The seat widths are the same for all the Y seats, except for the bulkhead and exit row seats, AFAIK. It's because the tray table is in the armrest. (not to mention the IFE) But yes, they are essentially the same seats.

I like 21HJ on the E+ 777. Extra legroom, and still a tiny bit of underseat storage in front of you. Video and tray table in the armrests.

I think that the width on the 777 is 18 inches. (one inch more than the 737/747/757).

So do I, but the problem is that you get shafted if they change to the non E+ version.
