Type of fare
 

HOw can you tell what type of fare was purchased? Obviously, this has relevance for the Great Offer promotion. Here's one of mine's:

Fare Details: 288619 FC 12JUL HNL UA DEN Q9.30 330.33WSPE30N UA HNL Q9.30 308.31SSOE30N USD 657.24 END ZPHNLDEN XT 6.00ZP 5.00AY 4.50XFDEN4.5

Now, I assume the first segment from HNL-DEN is a W fare but the segment from DEN-HNL is what? An S fare?

S it is. I like this for a fare primer (What's in a Fare). Pay particular attention to section D--Fare Basis Code.
