From reading the T&C of the referral offer, it doesn't seem to be stackable. It seems like each offer needs its own offer code, which you (presumably) cannot combine.

Wow, time for my wife to get a card.

Too bad I just got the RCC card, but hey, this is my fifth time on this! The mileage bonuses keep going up. Cue the comments about diluting the value of miles (which is of course true).

I just applied and was told that the referral bonus can not be combined with this offer.

Approved for the BA card 67 days ago; got instant approval on the UA Visa just moments ago.

looks like chase bought too many UA miles and don't know what to do with it, keep waiting and i'll be up to 200,000 soon enough.

Which phonen number do we use to apply for the new card? I tried calling the MP number and there was no option to get the 50,000 mile card.

Call Mileage Plus Customer Service (1-800-421-4655 for non-elites)

1. Choose "manage my account"
2. Let them know your mileage plus number and zip code
3. Say "more options"
4. Finally say "apply for a United mileage plus card".

Can you get this on the 1K line (the 800-7xx-xxx0 number)?

United Plus Card 50,000 Miles

I just got one as well. It is good however to know that after the first year there is the $60 per year fee and Chase is pretty pricey when it comes to fees if you don't pay monthly as well as they charge an exchange fee as well as 3%. So your better off using a Capital One or Schwab card for your cash withdrawals and use this card just for building up mileage.

Anyway thanks to the original poster.

Just want to make sure I've got this straight. So if a friend uses that 15,000 mile referral bonus code when they apply for the card, they can only access the usual 30,000 mile offer and not this 50,000 one?
Definitely a bummer.

on with them right now. almost laughed when they said you may be rejected if you make a habit of only opening cc accounts for air miles.

Just got off the phone. Any idea why some of these applications are instantly approved and some are not? They're going to snail mail me their response. I don't like doing this type of application where I don't have a hard copy of the T&Cs spelling out the 50K sign-up bonus.

So now it's just wait.

TBH
