Tried today and still works, but not instantly approved. Two weeks waiting.
Went to https://www.thatsaplus.com/MPElite.aspx , typed in my MP number and got offered an application for 50,000 miles immediately.

My child got an invite in the mail.
Mom has a no annual fee Chase MP card - earn 1 pts for every $2.
Will the mom get this offer honored if she tries? This is a platinum card.
I applied and got the $50k.

Applied for the 50,000 miles offer online and card arrived 4/26 as previously posted. Update is today I received, via mail, a $25 Discount Travel Certificate (UA published Economy fare of $200+ within 50 States and Puerto Rico); and a One-Way Upgrade within North America Good For 1,000 Miles (Y or C except MP Premier members may use with any published fare).

My new MP VISA account closed on May 7. Last night, I got the 50K sign-up bonus plus 1874 miles for purchases in the month. This was really a great promotion. Thanks to Flyertalk!

Ditto here. Nearly instant bonus after the statement closed. Previous card cancelled a couple of years ago. Keeping my fingers crossed that the bonus sticks.

Does anyone know if after my first statement closes and I get the 50k miles if I will be able to upgrade the card to the Select version and still keep the 50k miles bonus?
I would rather maintain that one for the 5k EQM and the triple miles on united purchases ...

Question: Did your miles post immediately upon first use, or did they post after you paid your first statement?
I always assume you never get miles until the bill is paid, but the wording on this one indicates the miles come after first use. I've used mine, haven't seen miles yet, but haven't received a statement yet.

I applied over the phone, made a purchase, got my 50k miles, but now when I log into the site with my MP#, I still get the 50k offer.
They're probably not dumb enough to allow two apps in a row to be approved with the offer, are they?
