unknown bonus miles?
 

So I was looking over my MP balance this morning and for the month of Feb, I was getting an odd bonus on each one of my flights with the title of

"CLM BARGAIN HUNTER OPTIMIZATION PROMOTIO"

I can't remember what promotion this is, but it's giving me double RDM. Any ideas out there?

I'm not sure what this is, but can report that I got the same promotion as well. Also doubled my RDM's for a number of flights. I'm really curious to know what the promo was, but apparently not so much that it's caused me to pick up the phone to ask MP. If anyone does know please provide some details.

I don't know what the name of the promo is, but I believe it was a targeted e-mail. I got an e-mail in January saying the next 3 roundtrips you take over the next 90 days we will give you double miles. I am pretty sure that's what that is.

Interesting - with the 'change' to the United website today, it appears that the wording surrounding this promo has changed on my mileage summary, gone is:

"CLM BARGAIN HUNTER OPTIMIZATION PROMOTIO"

and it's been replaced by:

"EARN BONUS MILES WITH UNITED (MPS010)"

So at least we have a promo code to refer to, so it looks like it goes along with this:

Interestingly - I never recieved the email for this targeted promo, but did find out here and decided to give it a try. Glad to see that it worked!
