how long to post missing miles if reqest by mail
 
I sent in ticket copy & boarding passes for missing Asiana flights miles to UA MP by mail. I wonder how long it will take nowadays... are they pretty busy at UA MP?

this might well take 6-8 weeks.
a) yes Mileage Plus people have a lot to do
b) Mileage Plus will now first contact Asiana to verify (verifying in the first place that credit has not already been spoken for this flight to another Star-ff-program
c) the UA - Asiana communication process about such issues is new and probably not very efficient yet.

I usually just fax. Did it for NZ and LH flights. Took about two weeks. As Rudi mentioend, OZ may take longer.

I imagine 6-8 weeks is the official answer, and as you flew partner that might push it more towards the longer term, but I find it takes less than a week for missing/adjusted mileage on UA flights to be entered into the system.
