United launch code-share flight with Asiana
 

United Airlines has begun code-share agreement with newest Star Alliance member Asiana Airlines.

United's "UA" code will appear on all Asiana's TransPacific flight, plus Seoul and Busan.

With all of these new code-shares these days, it seems like some airports' info boards can't keep up! Some use three or four lines to show the same flight with different flight numbers. It seems like there are more flights, when in fact there may very well be fewer http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/smile.gif

For example, imagine the slow and seemingly computer generated voice at NRT saying ... United Airlines flight 884 bound for Chicago O'Hare is now boarding at gate 33. All Nippon Airways flight 3029 for Chicago'O'Hare is now boarding at gate 33. Thai Airways flight 5321 bound for Chicago O'Hare is now boarding at gate 33. Asiana Airlines flight 2662 bound for Chicago O'Hare is now boarding at gate 33.

Has anyone flown OZ code-shard flight? I'll be traveling to ICN via LAX. Since this is NEW service, I wonder whether I have to get OZ boarding pass once I get to LAX.
