Miles calculation
I am looking at the total miles I would accrue on flights UA 961 CDG to LAX via SFO.
I have two ticketed sectors CDG-SFO-LAX.Do I still receive the sum of the miles of the two sectors if I fly the two two separately ticketed sectors on UA 961 or is it still the lower figure as if I flew CDG-LAX "direct". I understand that if I flew the SFO-LAX sector on another flight number i would receive the full amount.I am trying to make sure I accrue 50,000 mile UA figure for 2003 before I start booking with the other side. Ozflier</font> If you have two flight sectors on your ticket they will give you the 5574 CDG-SFO and the 500 SFO-LAX (in Y). I have done a similar thing on FRA-ORD-DEN a couple of weeks ago. |
I have done Flight 961 - the miles are calculated only from CDG to LAX, excluding SFO. However, I got SFO counted in because my flight from CDG came late and I missed the connecting flight.
