Yes I sent them the same photo. I'm hoping they passed it along to the management responsible for catering operations.
I also asked them how it is possible for this meal to qualify under 4 of the special meal categories and how long it is expected to be in rotation for those meals.

3/15 UA63 DEN-OGG Lunch and Snack
3/15 UA63 DEN-OGG B767-300 Domestic First Class
Pre-departure drink: OJ/Water
First class was approximately 90% full.
Purser asked passengers' meal choices by ticket fare/FFP status.
I guess most passengers on this flights paid First Class fare or were higher status (GS) than me. I was pretty much the last one to be asked the choice.
Warm nuts with preferred drink (Mai Tai)
There were two choices for meal. Sorry, I couldn't remember what purser told me specifically.
My choice was chicken with noodles.
Another choice is mahi (fish).
Salad, bread, main course, and dessert were on the tray in the same time.
Tea and dessert
Prior to arrival
Fruit and cheese plate
Great service so far for 7 hours and 15 minutes flight.

Update on The Blob!
This is the response from Customer Solutions to my third email re The Blob:
I received your email with the meal photo. I apologize that I don't have an answer yet, but I do want you to know that we have contacted O'Hare catering for their help. Specifically, we are asking what is included on the breakfast menu, particularly for a low calorie meal, and how the menu calendar works. I know that you are also interested in knowing if the pictured meal qualifies for other special meal requests as well.
It may take some time to receive their answer, so we appreciate your patience. We will get back to you as soon as possible.
I'll calendar this for a reminder in a week as I'll be flying on the same flight in 2 weeks.

Well I will say that its encouraging to see that from the reply you got someone is actually looking into this rather than the typical: thank you for being a loyal [insert status] we are sorry to hear you were disappointed by [insert complaint category, typically wrong] we will look into this matter internally and hope to better serve you on future flights. please accept [insert $ based on perceived wrong above] blah blah blah

Ex-TED plane
I searched this thread and only found breakfast items. Is the dinner service from TPA-DEN catered in those black tubs and flown in on the inbound flight? What do they offer these days?
