lounge access question
I'a a newly 1P and will be travelling to Europe in 3 weeks with the fiancee and the 2 kids. I'm flying coach (ouch !!) but I can access the star alliance lounges on an international trip... Do you think that they will let me bring the family in ???

The "official" answer says you're entitled to one guest. If your fiancée also holds *G status or has a club membership, there wouldn't be a problem. You might be able to talk your way into a Red Carpet Club, but I would expect partner lounges to strictly enforce the guest policy.

Thanks EPS, guess I'am going to have to sweet talk my way into it !!!

And have your *G card handy (best), or
at least make sure your status is correctly represented on your boarding pass! |

My guess is that they will let you slip by with the other grown-up as the guest. One final note--and I say this with no ill-will directed toward you personally--on behalf of those of us who regard such lounges as a peaceful respite from the noise and rigor of travel, please watch your kids, and keep them under control. So many parents don't. I realize that kids are kids, but there is little more aggravating than 2 children having a "who can utter the most eardrum-piercing scream" contest while the parents do *nothing* about it. Regards, O/H |
