closed upgrade lists
I've run into closed upgrade lists many times now. I don't understand why they would implement something like this. From a cost perspective, if a list closes and they tell all people that want to get onto the list to call back (perhaps it will open up), then you have a whole slew of people calling daily (speaking to a CSR using an 800 number).
It's frustrating knowing that I can't get on a list and that the 100 hour, 48 hour periods can pass and you weren't given any opportunity to participate. So, is it that the database can only hold <x> people? I find that difficult to swallow. It seems to me that it can only make people upset. |
