E-mails from UA

Is it just me or has UA recently really bumped up the volume of "junk" e-mails it sends out?

They're getting annoying.

Change your Easy Update settings.

Update your profile. Once you login, you can change your e-mail communication preferences.

Making changes in these areas you can pretty much turn off the items you don't want to receive.

On a related note, those e-fare update emails are now totally useless since they don't include the fares any more. I like to browse through my email offline. I used to check the e-fares 100% of the time for ones relevant to me. Now it's around zero. I'm probably going to unsubscribe from them in the near future too.

gleff,

Thanks for the links, I went in and changed my settings.

I've been getting email from UA for a long time now, I still wonder about the fairly large increase in volume--though it shouldn't be an issue anymore.

CNK,

Yep, I'd have to agree, it'd be much easier if UA just put the freaking e-fare prices in the e-mails like everyone else.

They might as well just put in a link to Orbitz instead...

I got two emails from UA today asking me to update my email preferences (it was in there correctly, I want no email from UA, I get too darn much email already).

On the plus side, my January Tokyo trip has returned to "my itineraries." Darn good thing too, as I'd already paid for the ticket.
