Do partner flights help qualify on Status Match?
I was going to request a status match from AlaskaMVP to United.
I plan on flying the AirCanada non-stop from SEA-YYZ in early 2010.
Does anyone know if these count towards the qualifying flights that UA requires after a status match?

Thanks.
I flew AirCanada and it was an enjoyable experience. Too bad it won't count towards a status match.

Put it this way - the new airline is interested in granting you status provided you fly on their airline. Hard to imagine they'd do this if you were flying on someone else's metal.
