The above becomes secondary if you have to fight/beg to get ticketed.
My vote goes for:
- .bomb needs to be fixed. The AA.com comment earlier garners this comment:
"It looks 20 years old but it accomplishes an awful lot"
- Starnet blocking - why there has not been a major revolt on the glaring difference between MP miles and other airline miles eludes me.

Have I not been paying attention? I thought it was DL that offered EQM rollover, not UA.

I would say that customer service inconsistency would be my vote. Had 8 segments over the past week. 6 were great, 2 were horrible. Airport and RCC experiences run the gamut.

Many things. To narrow it down.

1. Award Biz class availability even on UA metal LAX-SYD/MEL. For 11 months out, only had 1 seat leaving that night & coming back 1 day after arrival. Even had difficulty when I used to be 1K several years back.

No problem getting AA partner award in Biz with multiple open dates.

2. Mileage devaluation. Reason I burned all my miles late last year.

Another vote for StarNet blocking. To me, that's a deal killer and why I have been moving business away from UA.

It annoys me that not all flights in F have meal service. If LH can serve a hot meal on a 1hr flight, UA could at least serve us a salad or sandwich on shorter flights.

agree with all who note the lack of consistent service

second gripe is the uniformly bad service in business on the syd-lax or sfo flights; at best it is professional, but most often downright hostile

I guess my #1 is : .bomb (and here I am referring to a very lengthy list of failures, inaccuracies, annoyances, etc.)

The horrible and incompetent web support from .bomb-bay doesn't help.

I am glad the OP asked for only one ..... boy, when the juices get flowing......

Great new phrase, though the PC crowd on FT may object

UA offers them as a tier benefit.

This is a pretty interesting thread, could a moderator make it in a poll so we can all see the results.
