You Know You Fly United Too Much When.... (The Sequel)
OK, so I got a little bored flying BOS-SFO-NRT-SIN in 1J today, so here's:
You Know You Fly United Too Much When.... (The Sequel)
1. You know the answers to all of the trivia questions on AirShow. In order. Without seeing the questions.
2. You look at the tail number of the aircraft you are about to board, and recall that the last time you were on this bird, the overhead light at your favorite seat didn't work. You board, and it still doesn't work.
3. You're on a transcon listening to ATC on Channel 9, when another UA flight checks in. You recognize the voice of the pilot as one you flew with recently, and worse -- that he didn't make Channel 9 available.
4. You are able to score two free first class tickets to SYD, by using only miles accrued from expired 500 mile upgrade e-certs.
5. You're sitting comfortably in 1A on a TransPac typing away on your PC a list of things "You Know You Fly United Too Much When..." You glance over at the passenger in 1J, and he's doing the same thing.
6. The FAM across the aisle recognizes YOU.
7. You're picked for a random carry-on search at NRT, and the screener says to you in broken English, "Oh, no problem, I saw these clothes already last week."

After you get into your car you try to tune the radio to ch.9 and start looking for the nearest exit.

With the end of another year coming up fast, I was wondering when this thread would surface!
8. You go to put your boarding pass stub in the breast pocket of a suit coat you haven't worn recently, only to find 4-5 other stubs from THE SAME UA FLIGHT several weeks/months ago in there.
9. You miss a flight one day, rebook for the same flight the next day, turn up and the GA recognizes you and says, "Weren't you supposed to be here yesterday?"

10. You can sort of mark the changing of the seasons by the gradual shift in the freshness and size of the cherry tomatoes and celery sticks in the RCC
