I met Annie in the SYD RCC last year. She was absolutely lovely to my daughter, complimenting her grace and poise (Mini DG was 11 yrs old at the time) 
. This put a smile on Mini DGs face and made the start of our trip a very nice one ^.

Just saw Annie working the floor at SYD check-in (not in the Koru Club today obviously!). Remembered her from the posted photo and couldn't help but say introduce myself. And considering it was the first time I've met her, it felt like she'd known me all my life! The first thing she said was "I bet I know how you know me." Couldn't help but laugh! :-)
She's a fantastic character and a big plus for United here in Australia. She told me that October marks her 20th year at United and she's hoping for 20 more! Great to finally meet Annie!

Annie really rocks
Recently on a SYD-LAX and was greeted with a bubbly hello from her - and news of the amazing lunch (she was right) that was about to arrive. Only complaints about UA in SYD is there are no signs saying UA use NZ Lounge - the signage shows a separate lounge. No complaints - aside from Silver Kris First lounge in SIN, this is my second favorite lounge in the world - the champagne is the best of any lounge in my opinion. If UA was smart, they would start paying other airlines to "share" lounges more often.

Famous Annie of Sydney's Lounge sends greetings!
I was amazed to meet the famous Annie at the Air NZ Lounge yesterday. She now has a permanent location there as Flyertalkers had a fit about losing her when the UA lounge closed in February. She handles all the UA issues for passengers and said to say to hello and Merry Christmas to all her friends at Flyertalk! She confessed that she still has no computer at home so does not ever access Flyertalk but loves to meet us all when we are in Sydney.
