Crossed 1MM a few weeks ago, but had only posted in the general mileage milestones thread.
Carol in the MSP United club (one of my favorite people in the world, United or otherwise) immediately congratulated me that morning of my impending milestone.
Apparently she also called DEN to let them know that DEN=>SEA would be the flight. Manager of Denver opps (though he said for Continental) pulled me aside as my BP was scanned to thank me and congratulate me. Flight attendant also congratulated me mid-flight.
Very nice gestures.

1.368m and counting. Achieved during 2012, although in all honesty I got a bit of help due to the increase in value of historical non UA miles. Never got a letter, card, luggage tag or anything.

Mine disappeared the first time I used it. Travelled with my wife (which means checking bags) so I put the tag on the bag and when we got to the other side, it was gone. I'd like to get anther one too...maybe I'll call MP and ask.

UA Lifetime: 1,001,268 earlier this week.
When I clicked the "Print Duplicate MileagePlus Card" link on the My Account page, I could see a sample of my new card.
I wonder if the physical card will arrive with the January 31, 2013 expiration date? Perhaps if the new UA is trying to save money, they'll just consolidate the mailing with next year's kit, which would have a January 31, 2014 expiration.
