Back before I transfered out, I helped arrange a quick mini-do in CLE, but only because I knew the area well. I could help out with what I could, but would need to get a day or two covered. I could even drive other would be attendees if I have the days off.

Hmmmm . . . I'm thinking about doing a same day turn now to go out on his second to last flight and then just head back to ORD that afternoon since I am based here. I just realized 5/30 is Memorial Day which would require zero days off work!

Just as an official FYI - I'm working to plan a meet up in Downtown Denver with SFOTerry and a few others on 5/21. Denny is staying in Downtown so we will likely be going out near the 16th Street Mall / Convention Center area.

I connected with Capt. Denny regarding a DO during his EWR layover on the evening of May 24th. Given his arrival into EWR around 8pm on May 23rd and departure the following morning at 10:30am, I just want to gauge the broader group's interest in doing something either in EWR or in Newark (Dinosaur BBQ is the only place I could think of)? I live in Manhattan and would not have any issues taking point/making the commute but I want to be cognizant of everyone's schedules.

By completely random chance, I checked the final flight and it was Y1/YN1 tonight. Snagged the seat. I encourage folks who might want to go to keep their eyes on inventory and keep trying.

I unfortunately missed the SFO maintenance tour / get together by being outside of the country. Am considering booking this as a mixed award / revenue flight so I can make it on UA314 and to the DEN event. (Plus, I've never been to Denver outside the airport, so that'd be neat, too.)
