Wrong / Different PQP on Web vs App - Issue?
 

Hi folks:

Noticed today my PQP got weird. App is showing too little. Web is showing too much. They are off by multiple thousands (I manually track)

Is it just me or anyone else too?

OK...the Web PQP is correct. Exactly ties to what I track. The gap was a bonus PQP from my club card that posted a day or so ago, but shows up in the transaction list at the end of May.

The App and "Status Tracker" are off and seem to ignore any transaction from the last week. So the issues seems to be that the Status Tracker and App aren't getting the updated / latest transactions.

OK The issue is resolved and it was entirely on my end.

I've already qualified for 1K for 2025. So logging in on the web shows my total YTD PQP including several thousand earned from my credit card. The App and mystatus.united.com show just the "flown" PQP as the credit card PQP do not count towards additional pluspoints. Which is stupid, really, as it is still money to UA from my activities. But it is what it is.

I thought the language implied that once you hit 1K, additional Card PQP don't count towards additional pluspoints...the card PQP prior to making the status should still count towards those pluspoints per the terms on the website.

Correct. Card PQP helped me reach 1K. Once it hit 1K I got all the Pluspoints 1K get.

But now that I’m 1K for 2025 my card PQP are useless and don’t count towards additional plus points.

Guess I’ve got zero motivation to continue to spend on my UA card since I get nothing for the additional PQP.

So I have about 19k PQP right now including about 3k from card. I expect to hit 54 PQF and 24kPQP at roughly the same time -- assuming I do, you're saying I'll only get 20 additional +P rather than 40? And I'll be downgraded to 21kPQP? That seems totally at odds with the website's explanation.

I don't think you're quite getting my question/point here. Obviously I wouldn't lose 1k, since even without the credit card spend, I'd be 19k+54. But I've already earned 40, and would gain 280 more for reaching 1K. That much is totally clear. But my point is, when I do hit that 24k+54 (for the sake of argument on the very same segment) -- Am I getting 20 additional pluspoints or 40? I believe it should be 40 (for a total earned amount of 360), but it's ambiguous whether I would only get 20 (for a total of 340). The way I read the rule, they should STOP counting card spend for additional PQP at that point. But the way you describe it, they wipe away the extra 3k PQP completely for the purpose of calculating the additional points. That seems at odds with the footnote, though I do see some level of ambiguity.
