5 757-200s EWR-ORD in May?

Looking to fly EWR-ORD Friday before Memorial Day, I always look for a lie flat option on a hub to hub route. Just because - not that it makes a difference on such a short flight. To my surprise there are 5 that day. Is this for real, or as much for real as it could be?

Great hypothesis - ORD-DUB, ORD-KEF, I forget what others use the 752.

ORD-EDI, EWR-EDI, EWR-LIM, EWR-OPO, ORD-LAX. EWR-MCO are all showing as 752 flights in may.

They're already gone from BOS-SFO and BOS-LAX. They're still on the schedule as of October, but...

I'm pleased to have one on a red-eye this Saturday night LAX-ORD. Used to be 772 was the only lie-flat choice on the red-eye on that route--I prefer the 752 seats. (The early red-eye is 752; the late red-eye is 772).

That was a shock to me so I had to go look it up. UA999 is still run with a 787. However, UA seems to be adding an extra EWR-BRU segment (UA616) operated with a 752. The 600-series is very odd for UA to run as an international out of EWR.

Not true. Off the top of my head: 110/14/146 LHR, 57/54 CDG, 70 AMS, 30 MUC, 134 ZRH, 510 FCO, 19 MXP, 170 VCE, 385 DBV, 50 MAD, 236 PMI, 248 TFS, 350 AGP, 120 BCN, 64/107 LIS, 144/238 OPO, 68 ARN, 124 ATH. Most of the non-seasonal flights (e.g., LHR, CDG, AMS) have legacy CO flight numbers.

Yup, all true. I knew someone would have the info.

But the 6xx series for EWR-BRU is unique it seems. Did UA run out of 9xx series?
