RUMOR Polaris Seat?/ Soft Service? / Branding? Refresh
As reported by Live and Lets Fly (https://liveandletsfly.com/united-po...new-tableware/) United is hosting a “behind-the-scenes access to the world of in-flight cuisine”, which included a picture of what is rumored to be a Polaris soft product refresh, shown here:

When will they serve the food in the photo? I'd much rather eat that than the current offering. Not that I can identify most of the food items. 😅🤣

I note that they're showing one of the same old menus.
The potato chips looking interesting, and the hand is moving towards a bowl with (dip, salmon mousse, cream cheese?) in it.

If they want to show immediate improvement they'll stop plopping the appetizer, bread, salad, and entree down all at once on a single tray and calling that pr
per service.

Does anyone remember when "polaris" was rolled out? It was dismantled almost as quickly as it was launched. who remembers the bloody mary bar lol.
I dont have much confidence in UA rolling out anything decent and actually sticking with it.

With regards to food, just copy any other airlines, and would take UA to new heights. From my POV, United's current catering in premium cabins is at the bottom of the bottom.

They're the best things about flying Polaris. Makes sleeping on a red eyes much easier, and you can't eat the food if you're asleep ;-)

in order to have that level of service, the cabin size needs to be cut in half

UA will never offer a premium soft product under current management, that should be very very obvious by now.

I remember the wine flight tasting! That was nice.
