Just boarded UA1940 IADATL and Captain said we can’t leave due to systemwide IT issue?’

All flights are about to be grounded. Wont say more but you’ll read about it in the news soon.

Per this twitter link UA asked FAA for full ground stop systemwide due to an IT issue.

Full ground stop system wide...fun. Someone feed the hamster so he can run faster on the IT wheel LOL

We're taxiing to the runway at SFO and then this happens. Currently parked on the taxiway next to 01R/19L. We're 30 mins in and the Captain will give an update in another 30 mins.

At least the AC is blowing cold.
