PIRC (Passengger Incident Review Committee) issue

PIRC is investigating an incident in Houston with a "customer service gate agent " since May 21st with no known date of resolution.
I am a Premium Platinum flyer who has been flying without any issues since 1985.
I can not fly Ujnited until this is resolved but in a second letter to them July 12 I have been told there is no time limit as to when I will get a decision and in the interim not to fly United.

I have already had to cancel and rebook a trip planned for a year to Israel and now have a trip to Europe with my husband and daughter in less than a week, to another daughters wedding and at this stage, I will most likely again have to buy another ticket on another airline.

What are my options. As a Premier Platinum flyer, I have always booked 90% of my business with United and I'm feeling hopeless, depressed and don't know how to proceed.

Any suggestions? Any knowledge of what rights I have as a consumer?

Thank you
Linda

It sounds like you should book on another airline.

I dont know what you did or said, but someone at United thinks it was bad.

Branch out and fly other airlines. *A if you want to use *G benefits, or whom ever else's schedule/price works for where you need to go. UA is going to move at their timeline, not yours.

None. UA is a private business and as long as it's not for discriminatory reasons they can decide who they will or will not do business with.

Not quite, ual is a common carrier using the navigable airways that us citizens are entitled to travel freely. There are many more steps to go through to deny service than just a simple no.

Sounds to me like this is exactly what OP is experiencing, so if you have some solution for them about what right UA is apparently violating and how OP should be able to avali themself of that right, I'm sure they'd be interested in hearing that. Because as of right now "[they] can not fly Ujnited"

If the op is that stuck on flying ua, then contact an attorney and/or file a dot complaint with more details than provided here. But ua may have a reason for taking this action and well within their rights, not my business.

Not necessarily a simple solution for a captive hub (IAH is mentioned) domestic flyer

If I was the OP I would be careful to respond unless you want to be material for a blog post which might be used in your ua case.
