What does this button do?

In Polaris, there is a button just below the reading light. Flight attendants couldn't tell me what it is. Does anyone here know???

i don’t know about an ejection seat, but a button to eject the (single) tray of slop would be useful.

Are you sure that the ejection doesn't happen if you keep it pressed? :D

Open the light, and press it to adjust the light output.
