Robots lurking in United Clubs

Found this adorable little robot roaming the IAD C17 United Club this afternoon -- while not quite as cute/emotive as the LG "assistance" robots that roam ICN this still made my inner child giggle -- it's pretty quiet but also pretty speedy as it roams the lounge. Seems to do very good at obstacle avoidance from what I've seen so far.

What other UA clubs have deployed robots to bus or for other purposes?

Fun! They look similar to robots used at some hotpot restaurants. I have not seen any in the clubs yet, though.

I went to a hotpot restaurant near McCormick Place in Chicago last week. The robot did a good job, but was not cute.
I will pay more attention to any lurking robot in UCs from now on.

Hah, I went to a different hotpot in Chicago earlier this year (the X pot), and it had a cute robot. The robot had a smiling digital face when it delivered things. Cuter than Haidilao's robots I guess! The robots without a face aren't as cute, so I recommend United try for some that will give you a smile.

A robot was also traveling around the Turkish Airlines lounge at IAD last week. This one had a "basket" that people used to put their used dishes/glasses/cutlery. Seemed to work pretty well.

IAD? You're sure they weren't the mice?

I can't see it and I want to! I just see a minus sign in a gray circle.

YES. I was more interested in foods than the robot in Haidiliao hotpot restaurant.

Using a robot to pick up dirty dishes in UCs may be a good idea. Does anyone know the cost?

I mentioned mice in another IAD thread and crickets. I think we old timers are aging ourselves!

When was it? Hard to find older things on this site. Search is not the best.

And was there a photo of the robot that I missed in the original post?

Me neither. The link goes to https://lh3.googleusercontent.com/GJ...-no?authuser=0. lincolnjkc, could you either find a different picture, or upload the picture itself to FT?
