Claiming Miles question
 
I flew on SQ recently, using my TG FF number. For some reason, TG rejected the mileage. So, can I claim the miles under my UA Mileageplus number?

use the online claim form and see what comes back. Does the fare class earn with UA?

If the miles have not been posted to another *A program, requesting missing miles from UA "should" work.

The original fare class was Q, but I upgraded to Business Class, no idea of the fare class, as it doesn't show on the boarding pass.

Q class on SQ does not earn miles with UA. Generally upgrades credit in their original booking class. (It also doesn't earn on TG Royal Orchid Plus).

You can certainly try it, but don't get your hopes up. KrisFlyer may be your only option to get credit. I hope it was a short flight...

Opportunities to credit SQ Q fare are very limited

The rejection by TG strongly suggest, SQ is reporting the purchased fare class, which is a common response.

I completely forgot about the weird fare classes that don't generate FF miles.
