Multiple up thread reports of access to C123 UC with passes. Still the potential at peak periods to be limited, but no negative reports since opening.

Currently here at the new UC @ EWR. They accepted both my and my gf's one time pass (via Explorer card) ~ 9am this morning. No signs turning us away.
There was no line for a shower. Saks Fifth Avenue branded towels were provided along with soap, shampoo and conditioner I don't recall.
We're currently enjoying mimosas in a quiet and relaxed space, while looking at the city views over the apron.

After visiting (and you can see this clearly in the great video), one of the aspects of the club that is impressive is the open space throughout the club. Large walkways, large open (almost wasted?) areas. Very spread out which adds to the excellent ambiance.

Hard to argue the space is wasted since in its previous incarnation, all that space upstairs was for walkaways for international arrivals, which was inherently 'wasted' space outside of the elevated walkaways.

I was able to access the C123 club this morning with my one-time pass from the Explorer card.
Nice club. Had a good spread of food- breakfast sandwiches (fresh, not that Jimmy Dean garbage), eggs, sausage, pastries, and coffee.

Reporting live from the club.
The signs are up, stating that one-time passes are not accepted. Although I overhead an agent, when turning away someone, telling the passenger that they can buy an one-time pass.
First impression is that the club is great! Lots of attendants to take away empty plates, glassware, and wiping down tables. 3 agents were working to assist with customers.
Lots of different food options. One lady commented how wonderful that there is real food in the lounge, and the staff kepted the buffet going - individual sandwiches were pre-sliced and plated to help the flow.
At 5pm, the place was extremely crowded, with difficulty to find a seat for one. However, at 6pm, 1/4 of the place cleared out. Lots of people decided to lounge across the sofa, as if they were at home.
The drawback - my flight had a gate change, and instead of going across from the club, now I need to head to C74.

This may have been covered above but it interesting to note that they again have sofas or couch like seating. In the past couches/sofas were removed as they promoted sleeping in the club. As I have been guilty of dozing off more than one in a UC and even had some of my favorite quite spots I won't say much more on this.

Nearly all of the club is in "created" space, to be precise. The kitchen substantially occupies what was once to be a sterile international transit lounge, but never used as such after 9/11. The rest of the club was open space above the old food court, retail and gate areas.

But aren't those walkways still there? Otherwise how are they taking incoming INTL?
