UA updated on website sometime later today to include expanded list of NYC & DC airports in waiver, after OP (DELee) posted original list airports that did not include NYC & DC airports.

I have a connection in EWR in the next few days and got the email as well but checked and they definitely aren't waiving fare differences. Everything would be like 700 dollars more. Maybe it will get updated later. Forecast does call for precipitation in EWR on my travel day.

Flying to EWR from West Coast
Hello, I'm flying to EWR from SAN tomorrow (March 12th) and saw that there was a storm with winds and light snow (1-3") hitting EWR. I'm connecting to an international leg and was wondering if others thought that the weather would be severe enough to cause wide spread flight cancellations. Wondering if I should try and take a red eye out tonight in order to get to EWR on time. Note, I have a 3 hr layover tomorrow when I am scheduled to travel. My gut is telling me that I am ok, but I wanted to get a wider opinion. Thanks in advance.
