This number seems oddly specific. I wonder how they came up with it? I’m actually a little tempted, but considering I used to make Gold via PQD waiver and <$1500 out of pocket (average ~2.8cpm) I’m definitely not a profitable customer for UA.

It's a tempting offer, but with intl travel scheduled this year, I'm hoping to make Gold organically. I'd rather put that 2 grand towards flights and wind up getting the same status.
Besides, my CPU % as a Silver is pretty high given that my home airport isn't a hub..
