I typically do the survey about 75% of the time. My success rate with the getting good GS agents has been high, however when you have a bad one you generally know quickly.

Upgrade odds seem to be improving as well at least when using PP.
I would be so curious to know how much flying among GS is going on this year so far vs. 2019. While flights are busy and some companies are traveling, many sectors are still in extended hybrid or optional in-person mode and on the flights I've been on (skewing heavily leisure to be fair) have very few GS still.

I am off to a slow start as our office has been closed since right before Christmas. Last year my total flying excluding International was near 2019 levels however I flew enough on AA to be EP due to UAL's reduced flight options. I only had two international trips instead of my normal 6 to 8.

The removal of the GS security line at EWR is a real shame. I used to be able to get to airport shortly before my flight and feel assured that I would make it.
Now that they’ve given so many people Clear, it’s no longer a straight shot through security. The EWR Clear line was at least 100 people long this morning and took more than 20 minutes. I fear it’s only going to get worse.

That is not good. I go out of my way at all the hubs to use this perk even if the lines are short elsewhere just to try to keep the usage numbers up to prevent something like this from occurring.

I remember being a 1K in 2019 and watching GS breeze past me in the Precheck line, then when I became GS in Jan 2020, they had just started up CLEAR and I never got to experience the joys of the GS line!

Thanks for the info, I had no idea this was a thing
Has anyone else tried this? Am flying out of EWR on 13th Feb and will try it out if there is a CLEAR line.
