True, and I think it's contributing to some confusion. With the french toast, maybe it's camera perspective, but kind of looks like you didn't even get a whole slice of bread, just the small corners. I never order that dish now that they optimised the sausage out of it.

Breakfast (warm!) croissant back this morning EWR-LAX.
the “French toast” is an insult to our friends across the pond. Thomas Jefferson would lead yet another revolt over that. I had to wring out the sanitizing wipe just to give it a little moisture.
Really, really grateful for the new EWR United Club.

The bigger travesty is what they are calling a Croissant. That is definitely something the French would start a revolution over.
And I think the “Greek” yogurt comes a close second. 15 grams of added sugar 😱

That is the most pathetic French Toast I've seen.

and I agree, I do miss the side sausage, but I don’t eat eggs, so this was kinda the default choice.
just being associated with that meal would cause a protest, if not full scale revolution. That said, I won’t blame United for the yogurt. That’s standard supermarket stuff — terrifying to read the labels, but that’s a much bigger problem than United catering.

EWR-LAX
Lunch/Dinner
I asked for the ravioli, but offered to switch it up if a vegetarian needs it. I got the chicken instead. Nuts were served prior with the drink.
Based on the FA's description, it is described as chicken and polenta. What was missing from the description was the morel sauce, which was pretty good, but it's the same sauce been used for the past 1.5 year. Also, it is now the composite chicken instead of chicken breast. The lonely stalk of broccoli was not great.
The usual pre-arrival snack of hummus & tabbouleh or cheese & salami was served 2 hours prior to landing.

I noticed the composite chicken on my last LAX-EWR redeye...it just dawned on me. How sad United has done away with real chicken. Now I have my picture...

Do they give the same composite chicken to the flight crew as well or do they get the real chicken meat?
