Maybe the granola bar is a dessert in lieu of those lemon crisp packets?

Maybe they were smart and ate lunch before they had to eat what UA offered. I've been passing on a lot of UA meals or (entrees of said meals) if the timing is right to get something beforehand.

I like the enchiladas personally. I encourage my seat mates not to select that one.

HNL-LAX red eye 773
Hawaiian Style Crispy Tofu with black sesame rice and cauliflower. Im not sure at all what the appetizer is but it was good. Food tasted better than it looked!
Other option was Chicken Katsu.
I dont know why we are so blessed ex HNL but we are. When Polaris Business is being served crap packaged cookie or a kit kat, I feel grateful for the guava cake.
Exemplary service by Honolulu based purser and crew (hes the best), PDB sparking wine, full glassware used the rest of the flight.

Interesting entree, never seen it. Is that a sweet/sour sauce of some sort?
Last summer the vegetarian option on SFO-HNL was a vegan chili (pretty good). I skew vegetarian so cant speak to most of the other offerings.

Speaking of SFO-HNL, is there no preorder on these flights? I thought I saw someone say they preodered on SFO-ORD, maybe route specific?

I was going to say, the chicken I see lately isn't the same chicken I had earlier this year and late last year. It looks much less pure and like a bunch of things pressed together

Uneven service EWR-MCO-EWR
EWR-MCO May 3 Breakfast "snack"
No PDB offered
No attempt to realize that the sport coat sitting on my lap and hanging into the aisle should have been offered to hang up (yeah, I know, I could have pinged them but I just left it there)
Order taken all at once (drinks/meal)
Drink/snack served at same time
No offer of headsets or blankets
So, fairly typical (meh) service
Compared to
MCO-EWR May 5 Breakfast "snack"
FA walked through cabin with a full tray of "champagne" and water
Headsets offered
Drink orders taken first and served
FA then came around with tray of both egg croissant and everything/cream cheese and asked what was preferred
(Slight point deduction for no inclusion of cutlery set - for the salt and pepper. Yeah, I need to carry the mini hot sauce)
FA walked through cabin midflight with blanket offering
When I came out of the lav fairly close to landing, FA asked "Can I get you anything else?" (interrupting his phone viewing).
My parting words deplaning to this exemplary FA "Thank you for the excellent service".
Some of them care . . .
