What is the SFO-HNL dinner options these days? Chicken, and a pasta choice?

I don't like falafels and can only imagine what a United meal version would taste like. How was it?

Yes was available as pre-order. Grey matter was cauliflower. Tasted ok as far as United food goes

Maybe I am odd, but I think part of the problem with UA's on-board catering (beyond the fact that the menus rarely change) is the change to a casserole dish which predates the Pandemic cut backs make the food look terrible.
The Falafel bowl would look a lot better in an actual bowl.

Flew HNL-SFO back in Feb and wasn't thrilled with the menu options. Ended up getting a burger from the back. FA actively added Pringles without me asking and I think I found my new go-to premium cabin meal. Glad to see someone else does this too!

Question: On my recent 645AM PWM-EWR flight there were plenty of drinks but no food. No muffins, or even a snack basket. I even asked the FA if they had any snack boxes and they said they weren't provisioned. Surely there must be some food on board every flight, even if it's just stale cheezits right? Just wondering if they were telling the truth or pulling my leg? Certainly not the end of the world but I would've spent $ on breakfast in PWM vs $$$ in EWR if I knew what was coming! I was kinda counting on at least a bag of pretzels. lol
