A319s are done. All have 12 F seats.

Sometime during the pandemic, I think in late 2020 or early 2021, UA put the kibosh on the A320 refits.

They probably like it better this way anyway, as A319/A320s often get swapped for each other, and this at least keeps the F cabin consistent across this subfleet.

Note to self - book A319 instead of A320 just for the odds of UG clearing benefit

Thanks all

787-9 Polaris/PP:
N26952 sked to exit XMN 2741/22Jan in Polaris/PP
N27957 sked to enter XMN 2740/22Jan for Polari/PP mod.
N26966 sked to exit XMN 2743/23Jan in Polaris/PP
Expect N24972 as next one in on 1/23.
This will leave only 7 flying with Diamond seats and 3 in mod.

319: N837UA is surely receiving 12F mod at BFM as N838UA did. Those were the last with 8F aircraft and had been stored throughout the pandemic.

While true, note that pitch in F on A319 is markedly less than on A320, 37" vs 39".

Adding to this - is the expectation that all domestic config 777 to be converted to 32F IPTE seats, once the P&W fleet returns to service?

Due to galley/lav configurations with the 772A being different than the 772ER, they ER will have a different configuration than the 772A.

Looking on UA.com on the 'Aircraft' page for 737's, the 3D view shows all 738 and 739 (in F) as having slimline seats. I have scanned various threads on here and cannot see anything relating

The first post in 'United Airlines Fleet Updates [2022 Edition]' says
738 fleet: 141 total – no changes anticipated, return of last parked frames in 2022, interior renewal to begin
739 fleet: 148 total – no changes anticipated, return of last parked frames, interior renewal to begin

and the 2021 Edition and 2020 Edition both say '
no changes anticipated'
for both sub-fleets.

Do both the 738 and 739 have new slimline seats?

No. The 737 Max 8 and Max 9 have the new seats; as the aircraft receive the Signature interior they will get the new ones, too.

Max 9 unless very recently have the older seats. I have been on at least a dozen and not one had the new slimline seat in F.
I need more coffee - I can't believe I wrote that.

All the MAX 9s feature the new domestic first class seats, ofc, minus the seatback ife as of rn. Its all the 800s and 900s that still feature the older sCO first class seats.

Meanwhile the max 9 and 8 both feature the meridian seat, while all the NGs feature slimline seats (DTV planes getting those seats retrofitted around 2015ish).
