Same. All my plus points now show expiry on 1/31/2023, including those that were due to expire on 1/31/2022.
I re-qualified via FTTF promo.

Yesterday or the day before I had a set that was due to expire Jan 2022 and another in Jan '23. Both are now combined with a Jan 2023 expiration.

It's now Friday at ORD, I am 95% sure we will have program update tomorrow, with PlusPoints extension as part of it.
Checked with some friends, looks like the rule is:
Those who re-qualified got their PP extend to 2023.1
Those who didn't re-qualified got their PP extend to 2022.7

Have a confirmed datapoint for both scenarios. I am now worried about a points devaluation or a price increase for upgrades though. Also wish they had announced it earlier so I wouldn't have burned some plus points on a 2 hour domestic flight.

Not necessary. UA already strictly controls upgrades by not opening advance PZ inventory.

That's how I burn ALL my PlusPoints (at least the ones I'm able to burn).

2019 PP extended to 07/31/2022 for me. German 1K, who has not requalified for 1K

It looks like all my PPs are now 1/31/2023 including those that were to expire 1/31/2022 and 7/31/2022. I had requalified for 1K all years. Maybe that helped.

I sure wish UA would increase the PP cost for UGs, just so long as there was also some PZ space made available. As I've said before, I would be willing to pay 100-300 PPs for a domestic transcon guaranteed (not waitlisted) UG. In other words, I wish they would make STW available on every flight, albeit for a very high price.

Said like Gomer Pyle…”Well I’llllll be!” For reference, qualified organically as 1k this year. No FTTF needed.

Nominated GS as MM companion here.

PQP: 10500 but denied requalification for 1K, after repeated contact with MP. I was told I was not eligible for FttF promotion.

This means I lost 320 PP next year.

To add insult to the injury, No extension to my 240 PP, which will expire in Jan. 2022.

Life sucks.

Isn’t that the point of “Skip the Waitlist”?
