What airport? What aircraft and approximate seat (+/-1)?

I will follow up with an image hint if this is too cryptic.
I'm pretty certain this was taken from seat 1A on an E145.

As for airport... LGA?

Those look like the bathroom tiles at IAH to me…

Def ERJ 1A. Looks like the bend in the Potomac on approach to DCA rwy 1

They are bathroom tiles [outside of the restrooms in the concourse], but they are not from IAH.

I like the seat and equipment but maybe like row 2 or 3. But couldn't that be CLE? You are the Buckeye here.

On the location, a winner! —

— a minor technical correction: we got rwy 33, but the approach is very similar until it gets a bit sporty at the end. I'm honestly impressed it was discernible!

Honourable mention —

Here's the clearer shot I got a moment later:

As for the seat —

Not E145. The first guess (3A-4A CR2) for seat / aircraft was closest. It was CR5 and seat 3A, so basically about the same distance from the wing as 2A on CR2. Should be more obvious for the non-potato photo that it's not the ERJ wing.

The colour scheme makes me think BOS, but I'm not very confident of that. I was all set to agree about IAH.

It is closer to IAH then it is BOS. I'll let this one marinate a little more and I will post another hint.

Please keep the guesses coming!

Impressive! You must be super familiar with that terrain to tell that from the down loaded image. I was going for the north shore of Ohio on Lake Erie but admittedly felt like a monkey throwing a dart....

I think CLE is a plausible guess from that first picture except that I think? it would typically have more of a bank if over the water there, i.e. coming in from the west. Coming from the east doesn't go as far over Lake Erie. My experience with CLE has mainly been redeye from SFO, so please excuse if I'm off on that analysis.

If that’s AUS, it would explain why I recognized the pattern but would be a little embarrassing as an Austinite.

It is not in Texas, or the US for that matter. (Also, not in Europe like my last picture.)

I'll post a hint if we get a couple more bad guesses.
