I'm going to guess this was taken looking out the window from the D8 UC at IAD (but also could be the C17 UC or the Polaris Lounge, but I don't have firsthand experience with either of those). I'm leaning toward D8 based on how low to the ground and the position of the aircraft at the remote stands in the background.
Was this taken at 3x zoom or something tho? The background seems much too close. Shouldn't there be a taxiway in between?

Yup!
Yes, D8. My wife took this with a DSLR, which might explain the perspective.

Sorry, no.
Yep. Yep. Yep. Airport was IAH. However, it was an E175 departing out of D3 so the view is to the south and should be a low silhouetted skyline of downtown Houston.
And, to get to how fumje 's logic WRT sunset unfortunately went awry, the flight was delayed so that, instead of having less than an hour to connect from E to D, I ended up having a few hours standing and sitting around a torn up D when I wasn't in the C1 club.

Nice, it is indeed the B6 club. Im in between both clubs for my flight home, though tend to prefer this club since theres a lot more room to spread out.
