It is my favorite spot in any US airport. Sure beats the pop up United Club where the bar is an old gate agent desk.

Nope, although I think I see where you're coming from.
I don't have a wider-angle photo, but my next hint would be that the board reading "UNITED" is angled away from the camera (the gray above is flat).

Yup and the glass walkway above is the connector from T4, I've walked that probably 60x going to *A lounge.

It was from the Airtrain. I was thinking maybe the yet to be opened terminal might throw off the trail a little bit, but I guess we see how that went.

That was a slight red herring but the quantity of rust and dilapidation in the foreground combined with the "aircraft carrier turret" skylight-ish thing made it unquestionably EWR
