Y Award Sale (?) CDG - EWR (22.8K), MXP - EWR (26.5K)

I was looking at some travel options from EU to EWR next spring and saw some decent redemption rates. I am not sure if this is the dynamic pricing at work or a sale but it's nice to see some below 30K Y award options for direct flights.
Examples: CDG - EWR (22,800 miles), MXP - EWR (26,500 miles), wide open availability
Didn't see any sale (?) for J awards.

I don't think anyone's surprised at that.

Since WN doesn't offer service to CDG or MXP, I'm surprised the counter move is not limited to north america.

West Coast to Hawaii have some pretty low BE/Y cash fares to compete with WN's sale right now, but the award fares don't look that enticing at all.

Offering something WN can not offer??

Yeah it is probably a stretch.

we have seen quite a bit of dynamic award pricing downwards recently.. Could be just continuing soft demand ...

I'll bet on that too, given that they're filing some pretty cheap BE fares for these routes.

I saw some very low BE fares for IAD-LIS, but not for PE. Cheaper to fly IAD-LIS than IAD-LAX.
