I really don't care about the schedule, domestic is quickly ramping up and international is more dependent on government policies which is beyond UA control. |

I don’t know about sales but I’m seeing $110. Fares to and from FLL. They’re making it really hard to rack up PQPs.
If you want to see Mickey, South Beach, or Vegas, you're set! If you want to visit family in the major population centers in the US, you're looking at fares 3x of normal and schedules 25% of normal. |

That's what's currently broken -- schedule & fares.

By your criteria (which I have no dispute with), we are about 12 months away. Food and PL the last to return. Perhaps the food never returns to pre-COVID based on the continually reduction of quality and quantity over the last 6 months prior to COVID.

check ORD-SFO, it is not hard to find most days are $400+ roundtrip fares in basic economy especially with UA (add $40+ for non N class), some days are even $500+, pre covid it was less than half of that for basic economy, |

Customers will be able to purchase these offerings from the Buy-On-Board menu using United's new mobile wallet technology. |

If you want to visit family in the major population centers in the US, you're looking at fares 3x of normal and schedules 25% of normal. Just purchased SFO-ORD for $150 one-way, this was less than the $200 one-way i paid to for the return. Also saw SFO-BOS for $250 or so a month ago, though moving higher now. And $200 fares to Hawaii from West Coast. None of these are outrageous in my book though clearly fares are moving higher as inventory disappears for the summer. Now international is another story, Greece went from $2k to $6k RT for business class. |
I'm on PHX-SFO right now, and it very much feels like back to normal. Paid F fare was definitely no bargain (>$500). Based on preboarders, at least 2 GS and 6 1K (possibly more behind me), with one of the GS initially seated in Y, pulled into only open F seat by GA right before they closed the door.

With a lot of int'l destinations not running or w/ reduced schedule, UA is hardly back to normal and the fleet is not even close to full utilization. A lot of planes are parked for longer periods of time between flights than pre-pandemic. AA planes may be out of storage, but that does not imply they are being utilized fully.
United is very dependent upon its TPAC BUSINESS. Right now that is close to zero and what little there is doesn’t fly with any previous economics. How about SFO-PVG? $7000 for an economy ticket doesn’t exactly invite typical visitors or business flight. |
