United (codeshare partner) using L gates at ORD?

Flying on my birthday and Ms. LincolnJKC and I are celebrating by flying... Killing a layover in the B6 club noticing some odd flights... The IAD flights from NR17 (adults only? ) And CG01 are explainable as positioning/ferry flights... There's AC700 to Toronto @ 10:20 local showing the status as "Early" which I've not noticed before....but UA2960 to Ironwood is showing a L11A departure and seems to be a non-ferry flight.

Is UA really putting departures in AA territory? I thought the hike from C30 to F21 was bad but if this is an actual flight UA should provide cab fare for connecting pax

Yup. Just watch out who sits in your lap on some of their planes...

I think this is UA's maintenance area at IAD ("north ramp"). Either the airplane is coming out of a maintenance visit, or was used for some sort of charter operations.

So much for my UA codeshare purchase where I flew 4B (BTQ) from BWI to PIT via JST (pictured behind the plane above). Now I could add AOO to my list...

David

p.s. Looking at the map, anyone see a single "coming soon" route?

No, but I did learn of nine US municipalities.

I also tried to decipher meaning from the slightly varied font sizes but failed.

Wow, I have a lot of family on a reservation 20 miles from Ironwood, been there probably 50 times and never knew there was a commercial airport there. Now it's about a 4 hour drive from Minneapolis, maybe a bit more, how long is that flight scheduled to be?

Google Flights shows 1 hr 5 min

Looks like they specialize in EAS (Essential Air Service) ?

Now I have to plan a trip to Muscle Shoals to hear the Swampers pick a few songs

Better hurry....just as an FYI, after the door incident last week. Botique said they will be ending service to Ironwood.

People who have flown Boutique Air, according to the feedback they have left on Boutique's website, would contend that the airline has never begun "service" to Ironwood.
